Description

Once a year, following the Remembrance Day service at St. Barnabas Church, the village hosts a get-together centered around a 'Curry Lunch.'

Every year, we welcome many close friends, often accompanied by family and visitors to the area, to join us for this event. It's a time to catch up and savour some wonderfully prepared local dishes.

Local residents contribute a wide variety of fantastic, tasty dishes for everyone to enjoy. You can expect a selection of curries with the usual accompaniments, such as rice and popadoms, as well as non-curry options for those who prefer them. To top it all off, a range of desserts will be available, and you can wash it down with your choice of beverages from the cash bar, offering a selection of beer, wine, and soft drinks.

The event starts at 12:30 PM after the church service, with lunch being served from 1:00 PM. Typically, we finish up and start cleaning up tables and chairs by 4:00 PM.
